Patent Owners Oppose High Court Review Of $95M Ruling On Surgical Method Patent
(January 28, 2016, 4:08 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — An appellate court correctly held that Arthrex Inc. was infringing on a surgical method patent, despite a now-reversed decision to the contrary, a current and previous patent owner told the U.S. Supreme Court on Jan. 11, asking it decline review of a $95 million judgment (Arthrex Inc. v. Smith & Nephew Inc. and John O. Hayhurst, M.D., Nos. 15-559, U.S. Sup.).
