Landowner: Drilling Company Lacks Proper Permits To Continue Oil Exploration

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 10:23 AM EDT) -- WHEELING, W.Va. — The West Virginia landowner who is disputing the validity of a lease agreement she entered with an oil and gas exploration company engaging in hydraulic fracturing on her property on May 28, 2014, filed a report in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia from its expert contending that the document that permitted the drilling did not meet state-regulated guidelines (Frances Braden v. Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, No. 13-107, N.D. W.Va.).
