Judge Approves $32.75M Settlement Involving Rail Workers’ Health Care
Mealey's (January 26, 2016, 2:16 PM EST) -- PITTSBURGH — Despite concerns that a settlement funding health care benefits of former railway workers could impact Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies, a federal judge in Pennsylvania gave final approval to a $32.75 million settlement Jan. 19 (Anthony J. Zanghi, et al. v. Freightcar America Inc., et al., No. 13-146, W.D. Pa.).
