Most Spine Device Claims Against Medtronic Dismissed By Louisiana Federal Judge

(January 25, 2016, 8:16 AM EST) -- MONROE, La. — A Louisiana federal judge on Jan. 20 dismissed a plaintiff’s orthopedic device claims against Medtronic Inc. and a subsidiary, saying he may file an amended claim only for design defect (Bryant Lyle v. Medtronic, Inc., et al., No. 15-0910, W.D. La., Monroe Div.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 6924).
