Bellwether Trial Against General Motors Ends Amid Accusations Of Lying

Mealey's (January 22, 2016, 2:43 PM EST) -- NEW YORK — The Oklahoma man who was the plaintiff in the first of six bellwether ignition switch cases against General Motors LLC on Jan. 22 dismissed the claims against the vehicle manufacturer, one day after the company filed a letter with the court accusing him and his wife of being untruthful in their testimony (In Re: General Motors LLC Ignition Switch Litigation, No. 1:14-md-02543, S.D. N.Y.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 282).
