Medicare Biller, Consultant Pleads Guilty For Role In $63M Fraud Scheme

(January 21, 2016, 11:01 AM EST) -- MIAMI — A Medicare biller and consultant for a Florida partial hospitalization program (PHP) that provides treatment for patients with severe mental illness on Jan. 14 pleaded guilty in federal court to one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering for her role in a $63 million insurance fraud scheme (United States of America v. Dean Butler, et al., No. 15-cr-20438, S.D. Fla.).
