Insurer’s Suit States Claim For Relief; Federal Judge Denies Motion To Dismiss
(January 14, 2016, 3:19 PM EST) -- BALTIMORE — Because an insurer has met its burden in stating a claim for declaratory relief, a Maryland federal judge refused to dismiss the insurer’s suit seeking a declaration regarding its coverage obligations for an underlying lead exposure suit Jan. 4 (Allstate Insurance Co. v. Stanley Rochkind, et al., No. 15-1546, D. Md.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 290).
