Federal Judge Says Claimants Must Reopen Case Before Filing Motion
Mealey's (January 14, 2016, 11:26 AM EST) -- NEW HAVEN, Conn. — After finding that two former property owners asserting claims related to a wrongful foreclosure must first move to reopen their case before filing additional motions, a Connecticut federal judge on Jan. 13 denied their motion to file an amended complaint (Claudio M. Valeria, et al. v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., et al., No. 3:15-cv-01775, D. Conn.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 4265).
