Indiana Federal Judge Rules Distribution Agreement Was Not A Franchise Contract
(January 13, 2016, 3:12 PM EST) -- EVANSVILLE, Ind. — An Indiana federal judge on Nov. 30 dismissed 12 of 13 counts in a complaint against a cabinet manufacturer, finding that a home remodeling business that signed an agreement to sell its products was not a franchisee according to the franchise laws of several states (Rogovsky Enterprise Inc. v. Masterbrand Cabinets Inc., No. 3:15-cv-00022, S.D. Ind., Evansville Div.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 159810).
