Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 9:36 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A panel of the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on April 2 affirmed the dismissal of a suit brought by the Hopi Tribe against the federal government for allegedly failing to provide safe drinking water on the reservation, saying that the tribe failed to assert a specific fiduciary obligation on the United States to ensure adequate water quality (The Hopi Tribe v. United States, No. 14-5018, Fed. Cir. App.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 5283).
