Texas Federal Judge Rules Against Franchisee Of German Burger Kings

(January 13, 2016, 10:34 AM EST) -- DALLAS — A Texas federal judge on Nov. 5 ruled that a state resident violated the terms of a guarantee agreement to operate Burger King franchises in Germany (Burger King Europe Gmbh v. Christian Groenke, No. 3:14-CV-1417-G, N.D. Texas, Dallas Div.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 150553).

Senior U.S. Judge A. Joe Fish of the Northern District of Texas ordered that defendant Christian Groenke pay Burger King Europe Gmbh (BKE) $629,800.77, with interest.
