Judge Refuses To Grant Injunction In Case Filed Over Walk-In Bathtub Agreement
(January 13, 2016, 10:15 AM EST) -- NEW YORK — A New York federal judge on Oct. 26 denied a motion filed by a construction company for a temporary restraining order in relation to an underlying agreement for the sale of walk-in bathtubs, finding that the contract was no longer effective and did not constitute a franchise agreement (Safe Step Walk-In Tub Co. v. CKH Industries Inc., No. 15-cv-07543, S.D. N.Y.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 145423).
