Yogurt Store Franchisees Seek Reinstatement Of Breach Of Contract, Fraud Claims
(January 13, 2016, 7:47 AM EST) -- NEW ORLEANS — Franchisees who opened two yogurt stores in South Carolina but claim that they were forced out of business due to contract breaches committed by the franchisor asked the Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in a Sept. 2 brief to reinstate breach of contract and fraud claims that were tossed by a trial court judge (Yumilicious Franchise, L.L.C. v. Matthew Barrie, et al., No. 15-10508, 5th Cir.).
