Anthem 401(k) Plan Faces Excessive Fee, Imprudent Investment Class Action

(January 12, 2016, 11:21 AM EST) -- INDIANAPOLIS — Participants in Anthem Inc.’s 401(k) plan on Dec. 29 filed a class action complaint challenging the selection of certain Vanguard mutual funds, rather than lower-cost versions of the same investments, the retention of certain money market funds and the record-keeping fees paid to Vanguard (Mary Bell, et al. v. Anthem, Inc., et al., No. 1:15-cv-2062, S.D. Ind.).
