Federal Judge Finds For Government In FTCA Negligence Case
(January 12, 2016, 9:43 AM EST) -- CONCORD, N.H. — After a three-day bench trial, a federal judge in New Hampshire on Dec. 22 found in favor of the federal government in a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) negligence case brought by a man who was injured when a loading dock ramp at a U.S. post office unexpectedly struck him in the back (Peter Porter v. United States of America, No. 14-cv-166-LM, D. N.H.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 170622).
