Forest Service Won’t Require Water Permits From Ski Resorts In National Forests

(January 11, 2016, 10:09 AM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Forest Services on Dec. 30 amended its internal directives for ski areas operating in national forests that drop a requirement that ski resorts transfer their water rights to the federal government.
