Federal Judge Denies Summary Judgment In Negligence Case

(January 8, 2016, 12:41 PM EST) -- NEW ORLEANS — A federal judge in Louisiana on Dec. 30 denied a boat rental company’s motion for summary judgment in a negligence suit after determining that there is a genuine issue of material fact regarding whether the company owed a duty to protect a man on a work site (Randall Sapp v. Wood Inc., et al., No. 15-3, E.D. La.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 173109).
