Fracking Companies May Not Dismiss Earthquake Injury Lawsuit, Judge Says

(January 8, 2016, 11:53 AM EST) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma state court judge presiding over a lawsuit brought by a couple that contends that two hydraulic fracturing companies are liable for injuries allegedly caused by earthquakes that were the result of fracking activity on Dec. 18 denied the defendants’ motion to dismiss the lawsuit (Sandra Ladra, et al. v. New Dominion LLC, et al., No. CJ-2014-115, Okla. Dist., Lincoln Co.).
