Judge: Window Maker, Distributor’s Third-Party Claims Against Contractor Fail
Mealey's (January 7, 2016, 9:48 AM EST) -- NEW ORLEANS — A window manufacturer and a local distributor cannot pursue third-party claims against a general contractor, the company that built window mullions and steel stiffeners and the company that installed the mullions, a federal judge in Louisiana ruled Dec. 18, ruling that solidary liability does not arise (425 Notre Dame LLC v. Kolbe & Kolbe Mill Work Co., et al., No. 15-cv-454, E.D. La.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 168254).
