Colorado Panel Overturns Summary Judgment For Sheep Ranchers In Dog Bite Case

(January 6, 2016, 2:38 PM EST) -- DENVER — A Colorado appellate panel on Dec. 31 reversed summary judgment in a dog bite case after finding that the trial court erred by finding the working dog exception of the state dog bite statute applied in a case where a bicyclist was bitten by two dogs on federal land being used by a couple for grazing sheep (Renee Legro, et al. v. Samuel Robinson, et al., No. 15CA0486, Colo. App.; 2015 Colo. App. LEXIS 2041; 2015COA183.)
