Condo Association’s Suit Against Insurer Is Timely, Federal Judge Determines

Mealey's (January 4, 2016, 9:26 AM EST) -- TACOMA, Wash. — An insured condominium association’s lawsuit against its insurer for denied coverage for water intrusion problems in its building was timely, a Washington federal judge ruled Dec. 29, interpreting the word “hidden” in a policy to mean “concealed” or “out of sight” (Eagle Harbour Condominium Association v. Allstate Insurance Co., No. 15-5312, W.D. Wash.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 173161).
