Casino Owners’ Counsel Avoid Sanctions In Suit Against Concrete Contractors

(December 30, 2015, 11:00 AM EST) -- GULFPORT, Miss. — A federal judge in Mississippi on Dec. 23 refused to sanction an attorney representing the owners of the Silver Slipper Casino in Bay St. Louis, Miss., finding that he did not frivolously assert a claim that the contractors who poured the concrete for an allegedly defective parking garage attempted to conceal that they did not install rebar (Full House Resorts Inc., et al. v. Boggs & Poole Contracting Group Inc., et al., No. 14cv223-KS-MTP, S.D. Miss.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 171187).
