(December 28, 2015, 12:42 PM EST) -- JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A federal judge in Florida on Nov. 18 said he will not reconsider granting a tobacco company’s motion for judgment as a matter of law after finding that the woman who moved for reconsideration took more of an issue with the outcome than the standard of evidence the judge used to grant the original motion (Judith Berger v. Phillip Morris USA, Inc., No. 3:09-cv-14157, M.D. Fla.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 155944).
