Policy Precludes Coverage For Insured’s Handyman Work, Federal Judge Says
(December 22, 2015, 11:22 AM EST) -- TULSA, Okla. — An insurance policy bars coverage for anything beyond remodeling that is defined as handyman work performed by a contractor, an Oklahoma federal judge ruled Dec. 18, granting summary judgment to an insurer in a coverage dispute for a construction defect case (Great Lakes Reinsurance [UK] PLC v. David’s Construction, Inc., et al., No. 15-024, E.D. Okla.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 169307).
