Appellate Court Affirms Summary Judgment In Flying Lesson Crash

(December 22, 2015, 10:33 AM EST) -- RIVERSIDE, Calif. — A California appellate panel on Dec. 14 affirmed the grant of summary judgment to the lessor of a facility used as an airport because it did not violate any federal aviation laws that led to a fatal plane crash (Michael L. Webb v. Desert Bermuda Development Company, No. E01826, Calif. App., 4th Dist. Div. 2; 2015 Cal. App. Unpub. LEXIS 9074).
