Indiana Court Remands Case On Whether Host Is Liable For Guest's Death

Mealey's (December 22, 2015, 10:21 AM EST) -- INDIANAPOLIS — An Indiana court on Dec. 14 reversed a ruling issued in favor of a homeowner and remanded a negligence case for further proceedings, finding that questions of fact exist as to whether she was liable for the drinking-related death of a guest at her house (F. John Rogers, as Personal Representative of Paul Michalik, Deceased, and R. David Boyer, Trustee of the Bankruptcy Estate of Jerry Lee Chambers v. Angela Martin, et al., No. 02A05-1506-CT-520, Ind. App.; 2015 Ind. App. LEXIS 754).
