Federal Judge Dismisses Dangerous Property Claim Brought Against United States

(December 22, 2015, 8:51 AM EST) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge in California on Dec. 15 granted the United States’ motion to dismiss a dangerous condition of public property claim against it after finding that the plaintiff’s claim falls outside of the immunity waiver of the Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA) (Sean J. Mace v. U.S. of America, et al., No. 3:15cv4060, N.D. Calif.).
