Mealey's (December 21, 2015, 12:12 PM EST) -- PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania federal judge overseeing the Zoloft birth defect multidistrict litigation on Dec. 2 granted defendant Pfizer Inc.’s motion to exclude Richard Jewell, Ph.D., the plaintiffs’ general causation expert in 383 cases (In Re: Zoloft [Sertraline Hydrochloride] Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 2342, No. 12-md-2342, E.D. Pa.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 161355).
