N.M. Ranchers Denied TRO Against Grazing Closure For New Endangered Species

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 8:06 AM EDT) -- ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A New Mexico federal judge on Oct. 9, 2014, denied issuance of a temporary restraining order sought by 32 ranchers against the U.S. Forest Service for closing off parts of two national forests from cattle grazing in order to protect a new endangered species (San Diego Cattlemen’s Cooperative Association, et al. v. Tom Vilsack, et al., No. 14-818, D. N.M.).
