Class Of Homeless Sex Offenders Certified In Suit Over Registering

(December 16, 2015, 7:11 PM EST) -- CHICAGO — An Illinois federal judge on Dec. 7 certified a class of homeless sex offenders who are suing the City of Chicago challenging its police department’s alleged policy of refusing to register them (Michael Beley, et al. v. City of Chicago, No. 12-9714, N.D. Ill.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 163919).
