Pro-Life Group’s Challenge To ACA Birth Control Mandate Fails, Judge Says

Mealey's (December 16, 2015, 12:17 PM EST) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A pro-life organization’s moral stance against the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) contraceptive mandate does not render it similarly situated to religious employers, a federal judge in Pennsylvania held Dec. 10 (Real Alternatives Inc., et al. v. Sylvia Burwell, et al., No. 15-105, M.D. Pa.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 165495).
