Delaware Judge Dismisses Case Against Tobacco, Herbicide Companies

(December 14, 2015, 4:12 PM EST) -- WILMINGTON, Del. — A Delaware judge on Nov. 30 granted the dismissal motions of two tobacco companies and an herbicide company in a case brought by tobacco farmers who claim that their children experienced birth defects after being exposed to an herbicide they were required to use on their crops (Antonio Emillo Hupan, et al. v. Alliance One International Inc., et al, No. N12C-02-171-VLM, Del. Sup; 2015 Del. Super. LEXIS 980).
