North Carolina Federal Judge Says Insured’s Requests For Documents Are Discoverable
(December 14, 2015, 2:02 PM EST) -- RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina federal judge on Dec. 10 denied an insurer’s motion for a protective order regarding an insured’s discovery requests after determining that all of the requests for documents by the insured are relevant to the environmental contamination coverage dispute (PCS Phosphate Co. Inc. v. American Home Assurance Co., No. 14-99, E.D. N.C.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 165548).
