Pennsylvania Legislature Considers Fracking Bill Giving $20M To Environmental Fund

(December 14, 2015, 11:39 AM EST) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Dec. 13 referred to the House Rules Committee a bill that would amend the state’s fiscal code and allocate $20 million to the Environmental Stewardship Fund (ESF), which would be appropriated to various state agencies to benefit infrastructure improvements and environmental rulemaking regarding hydraulic fracturing regulations.
