Supreme Court Denies Certiorari In Dispute Over Speech Recognition Patent
Mealey's (December 14, 2015, 10:45 AM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A finding by the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals that Microsoft Corp. did not infringe various claims of a speech recognition patent will stand, thanks to a Dec. 14 denial by the U.S. Supreme Court of a petition for certiorari by the patent owner (Allvoice Developments US, LLC v. Microsoft Corp., No. 15-538, U.S. Sup.).
Chief Justice John G. Roberts took no part in the consideration of plaintiff Allvoice Developments US LLC’s petition, according to the Supreme Court orders list.
