Venezuelan Agencies Seek Dismissal Of Petition Seeking Review Of FSIA Ruling
(December 11, 2015, 1:00 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two agencies of Venezuela on Dec. 2 filed their initial brief with the U.S. Supreme Court, arguing that a Venezuelan national's petition for writ of certiorari seeking review of a court ruling that found they were entitled to sovereign immunity should be dismissed (Nelson J. Mezerhane v. Republica Bolnariana De Venezuela, et al., No. 15-410, U.S. Sup.; 2015 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 4426).
