D.C. Federal Judge: United States’ Injury Liability Dismissal Motion Is Premature
(December 11, 2015, 12:40 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A motion by the United States to dismiss a Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) suit filed by a person who was injured while servicing equipment at the Washington Navy Yard is premature, a District of Columbia judge ruled Dec. 2 (Robert Hale v. United States of America, No. 13-1390, D. D.C.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 161237).
