Amazon Must Provide Unredacted Customer Calls In Billing Practices Suit With FTC
(December 9, 2015, 12:42 PM EST) -- SEATTLE — Granting in part a motion to compel by the Federal Trade Commission, a Washington federal judge on Nov. 23 ordered Amazon.com Inc. to provide unredacted audio recordings of certain customer service phone calls in a lawsuit over the online retailer’s billing practices for purchases associated with certain apps and games (Federal Trade Commission v. Amazon.com Inc., No. 2:14-cv-01038, W.D. Wash.).
