(December 7, 2015, 12:18 PM EST) -- WILMINGTON, Del. — A Delaware federal judge on Nov. 17 denied a motion to enjoin a Delaware county from enforcing apprenticeship requirements for contractors after determining that the county code mandating the apprenticeship requirements is not preempted by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (Associated Builders and Contractors Inc., Delaware Chapter v. New Castle County, et al., No. 15-682, D. Del.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 155033).
