No Federal Question Exists, Wisconsin Federal Judge Says; Suit Remanded
(December 7, 2015, 9:55 AM EST) -- MADISON, Wis. — A Wisconsin federal judge on Nov. 20 granted a plaintiff’s motion to remand its malpractice suit to Wisconsin state court after determining that the plaintiff’s suit does not present a federal question under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (Meriter Health Services Inc. v. Godfrey & Kahn, et al., No. 15-087, W.D. Wis.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 157483).
