Washington Court To Decide If Wrongful Death Case Requires Valid Injury Claim

Mealey's (December 4, 2015, 12:41 PM EST) -- SEATTLE — Washington State’s top court on Dec. 2 agreed to decide whether an asbestos wrongful death action requires that a valid personal injury claim exist at the time of death, according to the court’s docket (Judy R. Deggs, et al. v. Asbestos Corp. Limited, et al., No. 91969-1, Wash. Sup.; 2015 Wash. LEXIS 1400).
