(December 3, 2015, 2:33 PM EST) -- NEW ORLEANS — The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Nov. 30 found that a former Texas attorney general, who oversaw tobacco litigation and was found guilty of mail fraud and income tax return, failed to show good cause to modify a protective order that covered certain discovery materials that were produced by victims and third parties (United States of America v. Daniel C. Morales, No. 14-51323, 5th Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 20766).
