Movie Studios Granted Default Judgment Over Operators Of MovieTube Sites
(December 3, 2015, 9:37 AM EST) -- NEW YORK — A group of seven movie studios were granted default judgment on Nov. 24 by a New York federal judge in their copyright and trademark claims against the operators of movie-streaming websites operating under the name “MovieTube” (Paramount Pictures Corp., et al. v. John Does, et al., No. 1:15-cv-05819, S.D. N.Y.).
