Texas Court: Evidence ‘Legally Insufficient’ To Show Breach In Fracking Dispute
(December 1, 2015, 2:43 PM EST) -- SAN ANTONIO — A state appellate panel in Texas on Nov. 25 reversed a trial court’s ruling and determined that the evidence was “legally insufficient” to show that former directors of an energy company who later formed a separate company to pursue hydraulic fracturing had breached their financial duty to their former employer (The Huff Energy Fund LP, et al. v. Longview Energy Company, No. 04-12-00630, Texas App., 4th Dist., San Antonio; 2015 Tex. App. LEXIS 12094).
