Paramedic Services Company Is Not Named Insured, Insurer Argues To 7th Circuit

(December 1, 2015, 1:04 PM EST) -- CHICAGO — An insurer on Sept. 4 asked the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to reverse a lower federal court’s finding that a paramedic services company is a named insured under a policy that the insurer issued to a rescue squad company, further contending that the underlying alleged conduct does not constitute a “wrongful act” to warrant coverage under the policy (American Alternative Insurance Corp. v. Metro Paramedic Services, Inc., 7th Cir., No. 15-2310).
