California Federal Judge Allows Discrimination Claims Against P.F. Chang's

Mealey's (December 1, 2015, 10:45 AM EST) -- SAN JOSE, Calif. — A California federal judge on Nov. 23 denied a motion filed by P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc. to dismiss claims for violation of California's unfair competition law (UCL), unjust enrichment and other causes of action asserted against it in relation to allegations that it discriminated against customers by charging a higher price for gluten-free menu items compared to regular menu items (Anna Marie Phillips v. P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc., No. 15-344, N.D. Calif.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 159474).
