Illinois Judge Finds Texas Drywall Company’s Contacts Insufficient For Jurisdiction

(November 30, 2015, 3:06 PM EST) -- EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. — A woman lacks sufficient evidence that a Texas drywall company conducted business in Illinois to impose jurisdiction over it in an asbestos case, an Illinois judge held Oct. 20 (Jennifer Mackey, et al. v. Murco Wall Products, et al., No. 15-L-55, Ill. Cir., Madison Co., 3rd Jud. Cir.).
