Man Tells Top Court ACA Religious Exemption Unconstitutional

(November 24, 2015, 11:01 AM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA)’s religious exemption violates the establishment clause by broadly protecting only one religion’s beliefs, a man told the U.S. Supreme Court on Nov. 11 (Jeffrey Cutler v. United States Department of Health and Human Services, et al., No. 15-632, U.S. Sup.; 2015 U.S. S. Ct. Briefs LEXIS 4115).
