Appeals Court Reverses Malpractice Ruling For Wrongly Admitted Expert Testimony
(November 23, 2015, 4:13 PM EST) -- JACKSON, Miss. — A Mississippi appeals court majority on Nov. 10 found that a trial court improperly permitted certain testimony of a hospital’s expert witness, leading it to reverse and remand judgment in the hospital’s favor on a malpractice suit (Della Sumrall, et al. v. Singing River Health System, No. 2014-CA-01139-COA, Miss. App.; 2015 Miss. App. LEXIS 583).
