Court Erred In Finding Exclusion Barred Coverage, 6th Circuit Says In Reversal

(November 20, 2015, 2:32 PM EST) -- CINCINNATI — A majority of the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Nov. 18 reversed and remanded a federal court’s ruling that an exclusion in a professional errors and omissions liability insurance policy barred coverage for an underlying dispute stemming from fraudulent insurance quotes and binders allegedly issued to property owners (Maxum Indemnity Co. v. Drive West Insurance Services Inc., et al., No. 15-3199, 6th Cir.).
